An artist makes a statement when choosing to distort or honour scale. The exploration of scale suggests varying artistic concerns. In small gestures, a series of small-scale works interrogate the ‘impact of scale’, as our perception of it shifts throughout childhood and adulthood, with the human body playing a pivotal role.
