Ryan Moore: Grip Tape and a Can of Paint

Portraits created by local artist Ryan Moore, on display in the Community Gallery. A self-taught artist, Moore has developed and refined his craft over 20 years painting on skateboards. His portraits have grown to include the use of elaborate frames, with a subject matter driven by humour, nostalgia and admiration. All works are one-offs created by layering only white spray paint through hand drawn and cut stencils.
