The Forrester Gallery, Waitaki Museum and Archive Te Whare Taoki o Waitaki are working together to provide educational opportunities for Waitaki Schools.

Steampunk In collaboration with Steampunk HQ. We are excited to offer a uniquely Oamaru art experience. Get your lab coat on and buckle yourself in. It is going to be out of this world. There is a charge for this programme.

Te Kaihinaki: Moeraki Boulders What is the story with those giant gobstoppers and how did they get there? Find out the mythological and geological stories about these huge tourist attractions in a hands-on programme including an art workshop.

Professional Learning Artist and Expert talks. These talks are a wonderful way to learn straight from the artist or expert about their specific discipline. Details of upcoming events are published on our website, Facebook page and in the Oamaru Mail. They are usually free.

Information for Schools or Early Learning Centre visits We are happy to come to you. Activities can be adapted to suit any level, or curriculum focus. We can work with you to tailor a learning experience to suit your needs.
