Sponsor a stair

Sponsoring a stair riser in the Forrester Gallery extension gives you a chance to make your mark. As a sponsor you will work with the Friends of the Forrester Gallery on wording to appear on your stair or stairs.

To secure your riser please email friendsoftheforrester@gmail.com with your choice of risers. The Friends will provide you with the bank account details for payment.

See below for the risers available, cost of sponsorship and conditions. Risers highlighted in red have already been sponsored.

First floor: Risers 1 - 15, $800 each. All sponsored.

Ground floor: Risers 16 - 30, $650 each. All available. 22 - 30 available.

Basement floor: Risers 31 - 49, $500 each. 31 - 39 available.

Conditions

  • Donors can opt to sponsor a particular stair riser. Risers will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
  • The website will be updated regularly on weekdays to show which risers are available.
  • The graphics of the risers are indicative only. Every effort has been made to depict positions accurately. 
  • Riser donors will work with the Friends on the text for their riser, a character limit may apply. 
  • The riser sponsorship programme is a donation to the Friends of the Forrester Gallery and does not constitute any legal ownership or property entitlement.
  • Funds raised by the Friends will be used for the purposes of extending the Forrester Gallery including construction, fit out and otherwise supporting the operations of the Forrester Gallery.
  • You will be provided with a donation receipt for tax purposes. The Friends are a registered charity and donations are eligible for a tax credit for every riser sponsored.
  • The Friends reserve the right to refuse any text for the risers if it is deemed to be offensive.
