Usual opening times: Tuesday to Friday 10:00am - 4:00pm
Weekends and public holidays including Waitangi Day 10:00am - 12:30pm.
Closed Mondays (unless a public holiday) and Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
Entry Free | Donations Welcome. The Waitaki Museum is funded by the Waitaki District Council.

Usual opening times: Tuesday to Friday from 1.00pm - 4.00pm. Archive reference material is available weekends and public holidays 10.00am to 12.30pm. Closed Mondays.
During May, June and July the Waitaki Archive will open for enquiries the first weekend of each month. Archive staff will be available Saturday and Sunday 10am to 12:30pm in the Archive enquiry area on the ground floor of the Waitaki Museum.
