Culture Waitaki is the collaborative home of the Forrester Gallery, Waitaki Museum and Archive, Waitaki District Libraries and Oamaru Opera House. We are each units of the Waitaki District Council. Together we represent the cultural heritage of the Waitaki District, providing spaces and support for performing and visual arts, natural and social history, reading, literacy, information and knowledge in our community. We welcome everyone to discover what we have on offer. We are located in Oamaru, North Otago. The Waitaki District Libraries also have branches in Palmerston, Hampden, Kurow, Otematata and Omarama.
